What is Aarkun?+
Aarkun is an open-world fantasy MMORPG built by independent studio Arcana Smithy. The game features a classless skill system, three factions, and four seasonal realms each tied to an ancient Dragon Artefact.
When is Aarkun releasing?+
Aarkun is currently in active development. A closed alpha is planned ahead of release. Patrons and newsletter subscribers get first access to alpha invites and announcements.
What platforms will Aarkun launch on?+
Aarkun is being built for PC — Windows and macOS. Console support is not currently planned for launch.
Is Aarkun free to play?+
Pricing has not been finalised. Patron support during development is optional and grants behind-the-scenes content; it is not required to play the finished game.
Does Aarkun have classes?+
No traditional classes. Aarkun uses a classless skill system — invest in any combination of paths and unlock hybrid skill trees that only emerge at the intersection of two disciplines. Your build is your identity.
